Designers, used to thinking in the abstract space of the canvas, often have difficulty translating their work onto the Web. A basic understanding of CSS, the language of Web design, is necessary for all successful designers. In this interactive session, participants will learn ways to teach designers how to better "speak" CSS in order to communicate with developers, managers and other team members to get the precision results.
You will come away from this talk with a better understanding of:

• Why designers need to understand CSS
• Why the myths of CSS and design are (mostly) not true
• How knowing CSS leads to better Web Design
• Where to learn more about CSS
